About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Actively prepare financial analysis and develop financial plans, serving as a hands-on planner day to day, in a fast-paced high-producing environment
- Integrate Microsoft Co-Pilot and other AI tools into process and operations
- Lead, coach, and develop members of the financial planning team
- Oversee preparation, review, and delivery of comprehensive financial plans and ensure accuracy and process efficiency
- Assist not only in the creation of financial plans but help assist the advisory team by creating straightforward implementation steps for the advisors to help drive revenue growth through implementation
- Partner with advisors to support client planning strategy, meeting preparation and preparing advisor meeting guides
- Control and form processes for, RMDs, internal payment of policies, death claims and opportunities
- Ensure accuracy and consistency of client data within planning and CRM systems
- Improve and scale planning and meeting prep workflows, tasking, and opportunities to enhance efficiency and service quality
- Ability to directly prepare meetings for 20-40 appointments per week
- Serve as a senior planning resource on complex client cases
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive client and firm information
- Ensure adherence to Thrivent policies, compliance standards, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Securities (Series 7 and 66 or Series 7, 63 and 65) and resident state Life, Health and Annuities registration
- Satisfactory background check, fingerprinting and securities registration and/or insurance licensing verification, if applicable
- Bachelor’s degree in Financial Planning, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field preferred
- Project and Process management experience
- 3–5+ years of experience in financial planning or related financial services roles
- CFP® designation preferred or ability to obtain within 2 years of start date
- Exceptional people , leadership, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail
- Proficiency with financial planning tools, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office.
