About the role

  • Provide unscripted, end-to-end phone support and problem resolution for Thrivent clients
  • Build rapport with callers of diverse backgrounds and accurately assess situations
  • Navigate multiple systems while engaging callers with clear, concise, positive language
  • Focus on quality and first-call resolution while minimizing after-call work
  • Receive up to 10 weeks of structured training and onboarding with mentoring
  • Continued career progression opportunities and stretch assignments across the organization
  • Opportunity to specialize in products: annuities, health insurance, life insurance, mutual funds, beneficiary claims
  • Supported by internal helpline, coaching, mentoring, and comprehensive documentation

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent experience (post-Secondary education preferred)
  • Experience navigating complex customer interactions from support through to resolution
  • Ability to welcome change and contribute to continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and Spanish (bilingual required)
  • Ability to work training hours: 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Central, Monday through Friday
  • After training: ability to work full-time schedule between 9:30 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. (CST), Monday through Friday
  • Remote work requirements: private, secure work area; reliable power; high-speed internet hard-wired via ethernet
  • Internet speed required: 30 Mbps download / 10 Mbps upload
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check
