About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and maintain advanced 3-statement financial models (income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow) to support company-wide multi-year planning, scenario analysis, and strategic decision-making.
- Build and refine integrated financial models for ARR, ACV, and Renewals, leveraging sales capacity planning and other key SaaS metrics to project business performance and optimize growth.
- Lead the development and continuous refinement of cash flow forecasts, providing actionable insights to support strategic decision-making and effective management of the company’s short-term and long-term cash position.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly reporting packages for leadership, highlighting trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Support board-level materials, investor updates, and key internal reporting.
- Track SaaS KPIs (ARR, churn, pipeline health, CAC, payback periods, margin trends, etc.) and deliver actionable insights.
- Collaborate with Finance, Sales, Marketing, Product, Revenue Operations, and department leaders to align budgets, forecasts, and strategic initiatives, ensuring efficient resource allocation and operational efficiency.
- Participate in annual planning cycles, quarterly re-forecasts, and ongoing business reviews. Help evaluate strategic initiatives such as new product launches, pricing decisions, market expansion, and vendor negotiations.
- Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, automate reporting, and streamline data flows.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3-5 years of experience in Corporate Development, Equity Research, FP&A, Strategy, Consulting, Investment Banking, or a related analytical field (SaaS experience a strong plus).
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Engineering, or a quantitative discipline.
- Demonstrated expertise in advanced financial modeling, including building and managing complex 3-statement models (income statement, balance sheet, cash flow) from scratch.
- Strong technical expertise in financial modeling and forecasting, with a keen analytical eye for building integrated models from scratch (in Excel, Google Sheets or other planning applications).
- Experience with BI tools (e.g., ThoughtSpot, Tableau, Looker) and financial planning systems (Anaplan/Adaptive/Workday Planning) is a plus.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to turn complex data into actionable insights that drive business decisions.
- Outstanding communication and presentation abilities, with the ability to distill complex financial data for senior leadership.
- A collaborative mindset and experience partnering with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful financial insights.
- A results-oriented professional with a high ownership mentality who is proactive, curious, and eager to drive continuous improvements and optimize financial processes in a scaling environment.
