About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Build and lead a high‑impact research group
Attract, recruit and develop highly specialized talent
Establish a culture of excellence, innovation and collaboration
Represent the company within 3GPP, IEEE and ITU
Lead the drafting and defense of high‑impact technical contributions
Develop an influence strategy within working groups
Structure an IP strategy aligned with business objectives
Generate and protect differentiating innovations (patents)
Develop strategic partnerships (academic and industry)
Present at international conferences
Increase the organization’s visibility and credibility
Establish an ambitious roadmap aligned with global trends
Identify areas where the organization can create a differentiating advantage

Requirements

What you’ll need

Master’s degree or PhD in electrical engineering, computer science or a related field
7 to 10 years of experience in the field
Proven experience in advanced R&D in wireless telecommunications (5G/6G)
Significant contributions to standardization work (3GPP strongly preferred)
Demonstrated technical leadership or team management experience
Track record of intellectual property contributions (patents, publications)
Strategic vision combined with strong hands‑on execution capability
