About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Act as the primary operational partner to segment sales leadership
  • Own the rhythm of business and cadence of operational reviews
  • Facilitate weekly, monthly, and quarterly business reviews, including pipeline reviews, forecast calls, performance reporting, and account planning
  • Track and communicate performance against KPIs and revenue milestones in real time
  • Liaise between field and central functions to operationalize leadership decisions
  • Manage complex, multi-phase cross-functional projects
  • Partner with HR on organizational design, headcount planning, and talent strategy
  • Lead data quality standards and process improvements
  • Drive Salesforce hygiene, adoption standards, and data governance
  • Partner with Sales Compensation on plan design and compensation disputes
  • Project manage Annual Sales Meeting planning
  • Own segment Net Revenue Retention targets
  • Embed renewal and expansion goals into scorecards, compensation, and performance reviews
  • Build and maintain NRR tracking frameworks and identify at-risk accounts
  • Develop retention and expansion strategies with segment leadership
  • Interface with central Revenue Operations, Sales Enablement, Compensation, and Systems teams
  • Represent the segment in President-level forecast calls
  • Own data integrity, bottoms-up modeling, and revenue outlook commentary
  • Build and maintain forecast models using pipeline health, conversion data, coverage ratios, and leading indicators
  • Synthesize operational data into executive-ready narratives and recommendations
  • Partner with Finance to reconcile submissions with targets and explain variances
  • Develop forecast submission cadence and governance
  • Own annual and in-year go-to-market strategy
  • Translate revenue targets into territory, coverage, and capacity plans
  • Define acquisition, expansion, and renewal plays with VP/SVP leadership
  • Maintain market sizing and opportunity analysis
  • Align GTM strategy with quota and territory design
  • Monitor GTM effectiveness and recommend in-quarter course corrections

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 4+ years driving revenue operations or go-to-market strategy at segment or business unit level
  • Demonstrated success owning revenue and retention KPIs
  • Hands-on experience supporting VP/SVP-level sales leadership
  • Ability to present data-driven recommendations to President-level audiences
  • Proven success building forecasting models and frameworks
  • Deep expertise in territory design and quota-setting methodologies
  • Experience designing coverage models aligned with market opportunity
  • Experience diagnosing missed targets and implementing structural, process, or organizational fixes
  • Track record managing complex cross-functional projects
  • Exceptional executive communication and presence
  • Thorough understanding of end-to-end sales workflows
  • Strong financial modeling and analytical skills
  • Ability to build bottoms-up forecasts, NRR tracking frameworks, and performance dashboards
  • Ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Ability to balance strategic priority-setting with tactical execution
  • Detail-oriented with systems thinking
  • Salesforce.com expertise required
  • Experience with Salesforce administration, configuration, or advanced reporting
  • Advanced proficiency with Tableau and/or PowerBI
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills
  • Familiarity with Sales Compensation platforms such as Varicent
  • Proficiency with AI tools such as Claude and CoPilot and Microsoft 365
  • Comfort with data warehouse environments and SQL, Alteryx, or Business Objects
  • Experience in high-growth SaaS or enterprise software environments
  • Background in sales operations or go-to-market strategy within professional services or information/content businesses
