About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Research, draft, and maintain clear, current, practical legal know-how content addressing startup companies' needs
  • Monitor legal, practice, and market developments affecting startups
  • Support development of customer-focused AI-powered legal tools
  • Identify and implement methods at the intersection of content development and AI-driven legal solutions
  • Partner with Product Management on technology development, product enhancements, and AI integration
  • Support development and application of internal AI editorial tools
  • Establish and maintain relationships with external law firm contributors and industry groups
  • Support sales, marketing, and other business functions
  • Respond to customer inquiries

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • JD required
  • Minimum of eight (8) years' experience working as a lawyer in a law firm or in-house
  • Significant experience working with startup companies
  • Strong technical skills
  • Ability to effectively utilize various tools, including generative AI technologies
  • Adaptability and flexibility to work on diverse projects within the generative AI space and emerging technologies
  • Curiosity about the intersection of AI and legal practice
  • Desire to build legal prompt engineering skills and innovative content development methods
  • Understanding of current market issues and proposals to enact, amend, or change laws and regulations impacting US startups
  • Understanding of the needs and priorities of law firm attorneys, in-house counsel, and startup professionals
  • Strong writing skills and ability to explain complex legal issues clearly and concisely in plain English
  • Innovative, agile thinking
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Demonstrated project management skills
  • Enthusiasm for working on a dynamic editorial team and exploring AI-driven editorial content creation
