Requirements

What you’ll need
  • At least six years of international news writing and/or editing experience
  • Demonstrated experience editing under tight deadlines and sharing constructive feedback with journalists
  • Proven track record of writing and/or editing clean, accurate news copy under tight deadlines in a newsroom
  • Proven interest in covering misinformation or fact-checking
  • Outstanding news judgement
  • Ability to identify emerging trends online and misinformation
  • Curiosity to learn and openness to feedback
  • Enthusiasm for collaborating with colleagues across different beats and cultures
  • Fluency in a European or East Asian language is a plus
  • Prior experience in OSINT or fact-checking would be an advantage
