About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage individual contributors on the Cases Editorial team of Attorney Editors based in Manila.
  • Coach individual contributors and support direct communication between Director or Senior Manager and team.
  • Model behaviors that positively impact staff.
  • Communicate team performance to Director or Senior Manager, and ensure individual contributors deliver on expectations.
  • Attract and develop talent, participating in interviews and candidate selection.
  • Set goals around individual talent development and team diversity.
  • Communicate effectively within the team and alert management about issues.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Have a Bachelor’s Degree; law degree is a plus.
  • Understand legal research products and the needs of legal researchers.
  • Comfortable leading staff and collaborating with management and peers.
  • Analytical thinker and collaborative teammate using logic and discretion.
  • Some supervisory knowledge, skills & experience preferred.
  • Strong preference for content management, editing, and publishing experience.
  • Decisive with a focus on making quality decisions quickly.
  • Comfortable with personal computers and familiar with Microsoft 365 and Adobe apps.
  • Can prioritize tasks and projects with energy and drive.
  • Strong, proactive, and assertive communicator.
