About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Drive the development of AI-enhanced legal research features
- Conduct in-depth legal research using Westlaw and other platforms
- Partner with Product Management, Engineering, and Labs teams
- Draft and refine prompts for Westlaw RAG
- Evaluate and grade search queries
- Work directly with customers to understand their needs
Requirements
What you’ll need- A law degree or a combined law degree, or a degree in library science/information management
- 2+ years of experience in a legal setting (e.g., law firm, in-house legal department)
- Exceptional research skills with expertise in Boolean and other online search languages
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Curious, keen learner of new technologies and processes
- Outstanding interpersonal and facilitation skills
- Experience in creating and refining LLM prompts and data indexes preferred
