About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide strategic leadership for the Product Engineering organization supporting the Corporates segment in Latin America
Define and execute the long-term engineering roadmap
Lead large-scale technology transformation programs, including modernization of platforms, cloud adoption, and the deployment of AI-powered features and services
Drive the implementation of generative AI, machine learning, intelligent automation, and predictive analytics across the product portfolio
Lead the full product engineering lifecycle — from ideation through delivery — ensuring solutions meet business needs, regulatory expectations, and quality standards
Partner with Product, Business, and customer-facing teams to deeply understand customer requirements and translate them into robust technical solutions
Build, mentor, and scale high-performing engineering teams, including senior managers and technical leaders
Oversee budget planning, investment allocation, workforce strategy, and operational performance across multiple engineering groups
Drive operational excellence by strengthening engineering processes, delivery frameworks, and performance metrics
Ensure adherence to security, data privacy, compliance, and corporate governance standards

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
Proven ability to lead large, distributed, matrixed engineering teams and deliver complex digital products at scale
Strong technical background with deep knowledge of modern software development practices, cloud platforms, and emerging technology trends
Experience driving technology transformation initiatives, including AI implementation, intelligent automation, data modernization, and adoption of next-generation engineering platforms
Excellent communication skills in English
Demonstrated experience transforming engineering organizations, driving innovation, and implementing operational rigor
Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to influence decisions in a global, matrixed environment
Experience leading multi-team Agile environments and guiding enterprise-level Agile adoption
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage competing priorities
Willingness to travel across the region and globally as needed.
