About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Responsible for managing complex contracts and ensuring high-quality delivery of new and existing contracts in the Department of Defense territory
- Support DoD clients working to advance national security
- Management and oversight of day-to-day customer needs and interactions
- Supporting diverse teams to ensure timely and quality delivery of capabilities and services throughout the period of performance
- Providing input to executive level reports delivered to the clients
- Facilitating discussions with key stakeholders on project statuses
- Organize and coordinate program objectives
- Serve as the integrator for the client and the TRSS corporate team
- Leads important projects, programs, and business initiatives
- Ensures complex deals get implemented successfully
- Works across the business to prepare quality Monthly Status Reports (MSRs) for select projects
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in business or related field
- 7+ years of experience working with the DOD or IC in program management
- Experience with managing projects
- Ability to adjust to shifting priorities and solving problems quickly
- Strong familiarity with the broad suite of Thomson Reuters proprietary data sets and technology preferred
- Ability to translate client intelligence requirements and needs into program management outcomes
- Works well with teams and driving disparate groups toward common client goals
- Ability to effectively communicate and relate to multiple levels of a client's organization
- Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders demonstrating strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Self-starter, highly motivated, team player with strong business acumen, superior organizational skills and the ability to follow through
- Excellent writing and presentation skills
- Ability to travel to sales training, meetings, and to customer locations
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. National Security Clearance
