Solution Consultant – Indirect Tax, e-Invoicing

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide solution and product expertise to support sales teams in defining and scoping solutions that meet customer needs.
- Understand customer requirements and develop proposals showcasing the capabilities of Thomson Reuters' indirect tax products.
- Manage and execute product demos during the customer buying cycle.
- Respond quickly to new leads and progress deals through the sales cycle.
- Stay up-to-date with industry news, policy changes, and regulations related to indirect tax.
- Utilize Salesforce and other CRM databases to maintain accurate customer and opportunity data.
- Act as a customer advocate assisting with complex renewals and retention situations.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5-7 years of experience in supporting solutions, preferably in indirect tax and e-invoicing domains.
- Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills.
- A 'closer' mindset with the ability to drive sales and close deals.
- In-depth understanding of finance, tax, and accounting departments, including systems and workflows.
- Strong commercial acumen, including experience with the sales process, bid management, and responding to RFP/RFIs.
- Ability to provide consultative services, solve client problems, and identify opportunities for Thomson Reuters' products and services.
- Capacity to handle multiple pre-sales projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and identify up-sell opportunities.
