About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Monitor a wide range of sources to identify breaking news.

- Work closely with editors and reporters across regions and time zones.
- Learn and apply Reuters’ editorial standards and Trust Principles.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Fluent in both English and Spanish.
- Strong interest in news, current affairs, business, politics, or global events.
- Good news judgement and close attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and handle fast-moving situations.
- Comfort using social media and digital platforms as newsgathering tools.
- Previous journalism or newsroom experience is helpful but not essential.
