About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead a development team (developers and QAs) from a technical standpoint, serving as the reference for architecture decisions, best practices, and resolving complex problems;
- Guide technical discussions, remove impediments, and continuously raise the team's engineering standards;
- Design and evolve modern architectures (microservices and event-driven), ensuring scalability, resilience, and efficiency;
- Promote the strategic use of AI in the development lifecycle to increase productivity and delivery quality;
- Collaborate with Product to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions;
- Implement and strengthen engineering practices such as CI/CD, TDD, observability, and code quality;
- Ensure operational excellence through monitoring, troubleshooting, and continuous system improvements.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Strong technical leadership with the ability to influence, mentor, and develop engineering teams;
- Solid experience with distributed systems architecture, microservices, and event-driven architectures;
- Proficiency in the stack: Node.js, TypeScript, React/React Native, Kubernetes, Docker, and relational databases such as PostgreSQL;
- Hands-on experience with AI tools applied to software development (Cursor, Claude, or similar);
- Consistent knowledge of engineering practices such as SOLID, CI/CD, TDD, and observability (Datadog, OpenTelemetry);
- Communication skills to act as a bridge between technical and business areas;
- Experience with messaging systems (Kafka or RabbitMQ) and modern development environments (GitHub Actions).
