About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide solution and product expertise to support sales teams in defining and scoping solutions that meet customer needs
  • Understand customer requirements and develop proposals that showcase the capabilities of Thomson Reuters' indirect tax products
  • Manage and execute product demos during the customer buying cycle to showcase product capabilities
  • Respond quickly to new leads, progress deals through the sales cycle, and develop new opportunities
  • Stay up-to-date with industry news, policy changes, and regulations related to indirect tax
  • Utilize Salesforce and other CRM databases to maintain accurate customer and opportunity data
  • Act as a customer advocate, assisting with complex renewals and retention situations

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5-7 years of experience in supporting solutions, preferably in indirect tax and e-invoicing domains
  • Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills to interact with clients effectively
  • A 'closer' mindset with the ability to drive sales and close deals
  • In-depth understanding of finance, tax, and accounting departments, including systems and workflows
  • Strong commercial acumen, including experience with the sales process, bid management, and responding to RFP/RFIs
  • Ability to provide consultative services, solve client problems, and identify opportunities for Thomson Reuters' products and services
  • Capacity to handle multiple pre-sales projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and identify up-sell opportunities for Tax/Accounting Solutions and Thomson Reuters' products and services
  • Spoken and written fluency in English & Mandarin Chinese is required.
