About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Independently manage local statutory and tax compliance either for a Country or a group of Countries
- Work with various business partners independently to ensure legal entities are accurately, completely and timely accounted for in the enterprise systems
- Ensure the month end close in line with Thomson Reuter’s global reporting timetable
- Review critical accounts reconciled to underlying documentation
- Liaise with auditors on Statutory & internal audits
- Participate in regional balance sheet and cost reviews
- In conjunction with the Tax Department completion of tax packs, booking of tax provisions
- In conjunction with the Transfer Pricing Department review quarterly calculation for Group books and perform the true-up Calculation for local books
Requirements
What you’ll need- Fresher Chartered accountant or 2+ years experience with MBA in finance/accounting or equivalent qualification
- Hands on experience with SAP/ERP accounting package
- Knowledge of IFRS or Ind-AS
- Excellent communication skills, fluent in English
- Strong analytical skill
- Proactive ability to use own initiative
- Knowledge on automation and AI
