About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end web applications using Java and modern frontend frameworks
- Develop RESTful APIs and microservices
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers and backend developers
- Implement automated testing as an integrated part of delivery
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives
- Lead code reviews, mentor junior developers, and ensure adherence to coding standards
- Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and performance
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and deploy applications to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform)
Requirements
What you’ll need- At least 10 years of professional experience in Java/J2EE or Scala development
- Strong knowledge of Angular or ReactJS for frontend development
- Solid understanding of RESTful API design and microservices architecture
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases
- Good knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, or other containerization tools
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI
- Full professional English and Swedish language skills
