About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end web applications using Java and modern front-end frameworks.
- Develop RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers, backend developers.
- Implement automated tests as part of delivery.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Integrate with relational and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL or S3.
- Lead code reviews, mentor junior developers, and ensure coding standards are followed.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and performance.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and deploy applications on cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud Platform).
- Ensure application security and data protection.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years of professional experience in Java/J2EE or Scala development.
- Proficiency with Angular or ReactJS for front-end development.
- Solid understanding of RESTful API design and Microservices architecture.
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Good knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, or other containerization tools.
- Working knowledge of CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with message queues like RabbitMQ.
- Successfully pass an extended background check.
- Professional level English and Swedish language.
