About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Set certification program strategy and roadmap; build the operating model, systems, and processes needed to launch and scale.
- Design and maintain credential frameworks, exam blueprints, and assessment strategies to measure job-relevant product proficiency.
- Establish governance for exam quality, validity, and test security; define standards and maintenance cycles to protect program credibility.
- Develop certification-aligned learning paths, curriculum, and assessments across delivery modalities.
- Partner with product, marketing, customer success, and support SMEs to ensure content accuracy, relevance, and alignment to business priorities.
- Define success metrics and reporting; use performance data and learner feedback to continuously improve the program and learner experience.
- Ensure the program drives customer outcomes, including adoption, proficiency, and reduced time-to-value.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Past experience designing and launching certification, credentialing, or assessment programs, ideally in a SaaS or technology setting.
- Hands-on experience with exam and assessment development (e.g., writing/review, scoring models).
- Strong understanding of adult learning principles and how to apply them across delivery modalities (instructor-led, virtual, and digital/self-paced).
- Proven ability to partner with internal subject matter experts and cross-functional stakeholders to produce accurate, job-relevant content.
- Strong analytical skills, including defining KPIs and reporting on learning/certification performance to drive improvements.
- Excellent program management skills (planning, prioritization, stakeholder management) with the ability to drive execution across multiple workstreams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Adaptability and comfort operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
