About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Work on projects that support and extend the full stack of the TRSS solutions suite
  • Deliver global data using advanced search, big data ingestion, and analytical processing
  • Build leading-edge web applications
  • Collaborate closely with TRSS analytical staff and development teams
  • Capture customer requirements and design new solutions
  • Lead projects or efforts and mentor less experienced developers
  • Design, implement and deliver software solutions and data science efforts
  • Engage TRSS analytical staff to gather requirements, generate ideas, and develop documentation
  • Demo new software solutions as needed

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • B.S. in Computer Science or Software Engineering or relevant experience considered
  • 3-10 years of professional software development experience
  • Strong moral and ethical character with a strong work ethic
  • Experience mentoring less experienced developers and/or leading small projects or teams
  • Strong Engineering and Problem-Solving skills
  • Development experience with the following stack: Backend: Python, Java, SpringBoot; Database: MongoDB, MySQL; Devops: Docker, Jenkins, Git, Maven
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. national security clearance
  • U.S. Citizenship essential to comply with government contract/agency or department of Federal Government requirements
