About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Work on projects that support and extend the full stack of the TRSS solutions suite
Deliver global data using advanced search, big data ingestion, and analytical processing
Build leading-edge web applications
Collaborate closely with TRSS analytical staff and development teams
Capture customer requirements and design new solutions
Lead projects or efforts and mentor less experienced developers
Design, implement and deliver software solutions and data science efforts
Engage TRSS analytical staff to gather requirements, generate ideas, and develop documentation
Demo new software solutions as needed

Requirements

What you’ll need

B.S. in Computer Science or Software Engineering or relevant experience considered
3-10 years of professional software development experience
Strong moral and ethical character with a strong work ethic
Experience mentoring less experienced developers and/or leading small projects or teams
Strong Engineering and Problem-Solving skills
Development experience with the following stack: Backend: Python, Java, SpringBoot; Database: MongoDB, MySQL; Devops: Docker, Jenkins, Git, Maven
Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. national security clearance
U.S. Citizenship essential to comply with government contract/agency or department of Federal Government requirements
