About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Oversee all compliance and preseason products across the markets served
- Lead a team of Tax Analysts in delivering high-quality, timely solutions
- Serve as a key liaison between product development teams and external clients or vendors
- Manage day-to-day team operations, including planning and scheduling, work review, hiring, process management and improvement, and successful delivery of assigned initiatives
- Translate and communicate business requirements between development teams and stakeholders, ensuring alignment with design specifications, documentation standards, and product objectives
- Identify and implement process improvements and enabling technologies to streamline workflows, accelerate time-to-market, and reduce costs where possible
- Develop initiatives and program enhancements that positively impact the customer experience
- Recommend policy changes and establish procedures that impact the immediate organization
Requirements
What you’ll need- Demonstrated experience working directly with clients to define needs and deliver effective solutions
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- Creative, innovative, and adaptable, with the ability to operate effectively in a matrixed environment
- Proven success managing and delivering complex, time-sensitive projects
- Experience developing and executing hiring and talent strategies
- Strong ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and perform effectively under tight deadlines and competing priorities
- Solid cost management skills, with an understanding of how departmental costs impact product development and overall financial performance
- Ability to coach, develop, and manage staff with limited reliance on direct supervisory support
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, or a related field required; MBA or CPA preferred
