About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Partner with Non-IT category stakeholders to lead sourcing activities
  • Support development of category plans and sourcing strategies across key company initiatives
  • Deliver procurement initiatives that achieve best value while managing risk
  • Contribute to the annual pipeline of procurement initiatives and align with financial planning
  • Optimize costs, improve user experience, increase transparency and contract compliance, and enhance efficiencies
  • Lead RFx initiatives, including supplier selection, contract drafting, and negotiations
  • Support implementation and enhancement of sourcing methodologies
  • Build collaborative relationships with procurement teams and stakeholders
  • Advise stakeholders on spend decisions based on best practices
  • Provide regular project and initiative updates to stakeholders and management
  • Lead or support contracting from drafting through execution
  • Negotiate contracts using best-in-class practices and organizational contracting guidelines
  • Foster relationships within project teams, customer groups, and peer groups

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Credible knowledge and expertise across a wide range of Non-IT spend categories
  • Significant experience developing and negotiating agreements valued from $50K to $500K across multiple geographies
  • 3–5 years of applicable experience across the Professional Services Procurement value chain, including operations and program management
  • Sound understanding of applicable laws and regulations
  • Excellent external and internal relationship management skills
  • Sourcing practitioner experience with deal architecture and negotiation skills
  • Strong understanding of best-practice sourcing methodology
  • Demonstrated track record of working ethically to achieve excellent outcomes
  • Strong experience managing the contracting process from drafting to execution
  • Expert analytical skills
  • Ability to develop high-quality sourcing collateral, including business cases, contract summaries, and RFx materials
  • Experience with Source-to-Pay tools such as Ariba or Fieldglass
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred)
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) (preferred)
