About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide strategic and operational HR partnership to business leaders and employees across Thomson Reuters
- Provide operational consultancy to first-line and middle managers and the wider HR community
- Support the designated business unit in delivering the HR cycle, including bonus/pay review, talent management, performance management, and employee surveys
- Develop solutions from factual backgrounds and fundamental principles
- Provide expert knowledge and direction across HR disciplines to first- and middle management
- Develop independent reports and analysis for workforce planning
- Contribute to projects as a team member with ownership of designated elements
- Advise first- to middle management on medium- to higher-complexity employee relations matters
- Direct and coach more junior HR colleagues
- Lead and coordinate employee engagement events, wellbeing initiatives, and local People programs
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree required
- Advanced English proficiency
- 5 years of experience in Human Resources, Human Resources Business Partner, Employee Relations, Organizational Development, or related HR functions
- Strong knowledge of HR practices, employment policies and relations, employee engagement, and performance management
- Working knowledge of Mexican labor legislation and employment practices
- Experience partnering with managers and influencing decision-making
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and operate effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication, consulting, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to analyze information, identify solutions, and provide practical recommendations
- Experience working in a matrixed or multinational environment preferred
