About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design, develop, test, and deploy software applications and enhancements meeting business and customer requirements
- Write new software, modify existing applications, and integrate software modules, including AI-enabled capabilities
- Develop and maintain front-end and back-end components focused on performance, scalability, and security
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams using modern architecture patterns and cloud-native technologies
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions, leveraging AI technologies where appropriate
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, team meetings, code reviews, and collaborative development activities
- Consume and integrate APIs and gain exposure to infrastructure-as-code, containerization, and CI/CD pipelines
- Troubleshoot application issues through root cause analysis and implement sustainable solutions
- Address incidents and code quality findings identified through continuous code inspection and monitoring tools
- Execute development tasks based on provided designs while proposing enhancements and optimizations
- Develop and execute unit tests and contribute to automated testing strategies
- Contribute to knowledge sharing and provide technical assistance to team members
- Support straightforward projects and deliver technical solutions with moderate guidance and direction
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
- Foundational experience in software development and programming concepts
- Knowledge of one or more programming languages such as Java, Python, C#, JavaScript, or similar
- Understanding of front-end and back-end development principles
- Familiarity with API integration and RESTful services
- Basic understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and version control systems such as Git
- Knowledge of unit testing and software quality assurance practices
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to learn new technologies quickly and adapt to a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality solutions
- Preferred: exposure to AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
- Preferred: basic understanding of Docker and Kubernetes
- Preferred: familiarity with CI/CD tools and DevOps practices
- Preferred: knowledge of Terraform or CloudFormation
- Preferred: understanding of AI concepts, machine learning fundamentals, and AI-assisted development tools
- Preferred: exposure to modern software architecture patterns and cloud-native application development
- Preferred: experience participating in code reviews and collaborative development environments
- Preferred: demonstrated ability to optimize code performance and contribute to system design discussions
- Preferred: familiarity with automated testing frameworks and test-driven development practices
