About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead product training primarily focused on CoCounsel Legal
- Deliver training on Legal Tracker, HighQ, Westlaw, and Practical Law as business and customer needs evolve
- Deliver multi-client workshops and dedicated single-client sessions virtually or onsite at customer, partner, or company locations
- Partner with curriculum designers, learning experience designers, Professional Services, subject matter experts, and customers to identify training needs and delivery methods
- Co-create training that drives business transformation, AI-first mindsets, and deep CoCounsel expertise
- Stay current on professional-grade AI, legal practice, and market developments
- Continuously update training assets across instructor-led workshops, webinars, office hours, on-demand workshops, eLearning, videos, certification exams, and toolkits
- Maintain instructor and participant guides for accuracy, clarity, and accessibility
- Collect and analyze learner feedback and training data, including surveys, NPS, completion, and adoption metrics
- Build and maintain deep product expertise in CoCounsel Legal and the legal product portfolio
- Use generative Thomson Reuters AI tools to accelerate work and improve deliverables
- Record time and engagement details for billing and utilization reporting
- Submit timely expense reports for business travel
- Deliver attendance reports and support operational tasks such as managing waitlists
Requirements
What you’ll need- Juris Doctorate (JD) with bar admission in at least one U.S. state (REQUIRED)
- Experience with legal technology and/or AI-based platforms, such as CoCounsel Legal, Westlaw, Practical Law, Legal Tracker, or HighQ
- Experience delivering live and virtual training to groups from approximately 10 to 50+ participants
- Experience designing and facilitating practical, hands-on learning activities that drive adoption
- Ability to manage technical issues, varied participant skill levels, and product changes while maintaining a positive learner experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to explain complex concepts clearly and simply
- Customer-centric mindset with measurable training impact
- Effectiveness working across a complex, matrixed organization to build alignment
- Experience leading cross-functional projects and delivering results on time
- Strong collaboration and independent work habits
- Strong technical skills leveraging generative and agentic AI
- Adaptability across diverse and emerging technology
- Willingness to travel for onsite training as needed
- Preferred: minimum of 2 years as a practicing attorney in a General Counsel office, or at least 2 years as a practicing attorney handling compliance or transactional matters
