About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop and implement communication strategies aligned with business goals
  • Manage internal communications channels and ensure high-quality materials and effective messaging
  • Create content for executive presentations, monthly town halls, email messages, and internal digital channels
  • Provide strategic counsel to executive leadership, including the President and Editor-in-Chief
  • Support cultural change initiatives
  • Collaborate with HR and colleagues across Reuters and Thomson Reuters on business change programs
  • Deliver internal communication strategies supporting Reuters and its leadership team
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of Reuters businesses and internal communications best practices
  • Communicate complex ideas across organizational levels
  • Negotiate solutions between key individuals to ensure communications are strategic, engaging, and effective
  • Report to the Vice President of Communications, Reuters, while working closely with the VP, Internal Communications, Thomson Reuters and her team

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in digital content creation, internal communication platforms and channels, and social media
  • Video editing is a plus
  • Strong project management, planning, and organizational skills
  • Ability to handle high volumes of work and maintain attention to detail
  • Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and act as a trusted advisor
  • Experience working in fast-paced environments with confidential information
  • Innovative thinker with a team-player attitude, thriving in a matrixed organization
  • Ability to create effective change communications strategies and campaigns
  • Experience with AI-driven business change is a plus
  • Experience using AI to improve communications workflows
  • Experience running effective and engaging employee town halls, webinars, and events
