About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop and implement communication strategies aligned with business goals
Manage internal communications channels and ensure high-quality materials and effective messaging
Create content for executive presentations, monthly town halls, email messages, and internal digital channels
Provide strategic counsel to executive leadership, including the President and Editor-in-Chief
Support cultural change initiatives
Collaborate with HR and colleagues across Reuters and Thomson Reuters on business change programs
Deliver internal communication strategies supporting Reuters and its leadership team
Maintain in-depth knowledge of Reuters businesses and internal communications best practices
Communicate complex ideas across organizational levels
Negotiate solutions between key individuals to ensure communications are strategic, engaging, and effective
Report to the Vice President of Communications, Reuters, while working closely with the VP, Internal Communications, Thomson Reuters and her team

Requirements

What you’ll need

Exceptional oral and written communication skills
Proficiency in digital content creation, internal communication platforms and channels, and social media
Video editing is a plus
Strong project management, planning, and organizational skills
Ability to handle high volumes of work and maintain attention to detail
Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and act as a trusted advisor
Experience working in fast-paced environments with confidential information
Innovative thinker with a team-player attitude, thriving in a matrixed organization
Ability to create effective change communications strategies and campaigns
Experience with AI-driven business change is a plus
Experience using AI to improve communications workflows
Experience running effective and engaging employee town halls, webinars, and events
