About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and implement communication strategies aligned with business goals
- Manage internal communications channels and ensure high-quality materials and effective messaging
- Create content for executive presentations, monthly town halls, email messages, and internal digital channels
- Provide strategic counsel to executive leadership, including the President and Editor-in-Chief
- Support cultural change initiatives
- Collaborate with HR and colleagues across Reuters and Thomson Reuters on business change programs
- Deliver internal communication strategies supporting Reuters and its leadership team
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of Reuters businesses and internal communications best practices
- Communicate complex ideas across organizational levels
- Negotiate solutions between key individuals to ensure communications are strategic, engaging, and effective
- Report to the Vice President of Communications, Reuters, while working closely with the VP, Internal Communications, Thomson Reuters and her team
Requirements
What you’ll need- Exceptional oral and written communication skills
- Proficiency in digital content creation, internal communication platforms and channels, and social media
- Video editing is a plus
- Strong project management, planning, and organizational skills
- Ability to handle high volumes of work and maintain attention to detail
- Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and act as a trusted advisor
- Experience working in fast-paced environments with confidential information
- Innovative thinker with a team-player attitude, thriving in a matrixed organization
- Ability to create effective change communications strategies and campaigns
- Experience with AI-driven business change is a plus
- Experience using AI to improve communications workflows
- Experience running effective and engaging employee town halls, webinars, and events
