About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide executive leadership for all Tennessee operations with accountability for growth, revenue, margins, and outcomes.
- Set and execute statewide strategy, including Foster Care expansion and development of new programs.
- Own financial performance, including budgets, revenue targets, payer strategy, and sustainability planning.
- Lead, develop, and hold accountable senior leaders.
- Ensure regulatory compliance, program quality, and Medicaid licensure.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with DCS, funders, regulators, and community partners.
- Serve as the primary external representative and advocate for the organization in Tennessee.
- Lead with a trauma-informed CARE approach while fostering a high-performance, accountable culture.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Valid Driver’s License required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Services, Mental Health or related area.
- Master’s degree preferred.
- A minimum of 7 years’ leadership experience in the field of human services or mental health
- A minimum of 10 years’ experience working in the field of human services or mental health
- Experience in multi-site leadership preferred
- Strong relationship building and networking skills
- Displays the capacity/coachability for future growth and development as a leader
- Ability to travel as needed
