About the role
- Set the vision and direction for Thndr's security risk management
- Define and own Thndr's information security strategy and multi-year roadmap
- Advise executive leadership and represent the security function in governance committees
- Own the information security program at the governance level
- Provide unified leadership across Information Security and Security Engineering teams
- Lead, develop, and retain high-performing teams
Requirements
- 8+ years in information security
- 4–5 years in a senior leadership role (CISO, Head of Security, or equivalent)
- Proven track record leading multi-disciplinary security teams
- Experience in a regulated financial services or fintech environment
- Deep understanding of security landscape across GRC, application security, infrastructure security, IAM, and cloud environments
- Strong working knowledge of ISO 27001, NIST CSF, PCI DSS, and/or SOC 2
