Requirements

What you’ll need

A valid RIC license in good standing in the state of Virginia
A Master’s degree in Counseling
At least 6 months of hands-on therapy or assessment experience
Own malpractice coverage ($1M per occurrence / $3M aggregate)
Comfort with EHR systems and other digital tools
Quiet, HIPAA-compliant home office
Own computer and reliable internet for confidential virtual sessions
Fluency in English
Proficiency in Spanish is preferred
Additional languages are a plus
Solid grasp of mental health diagnoses
Knowledge of crafting effective, personalized treatment plans
Skill in conducting thorough assessments to inform care strategies
