About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide required physician collaboration/supervision to assigned PMHNPs
  • Conduct regular chart reviews to ensure clinical quality, appropriate prescribing, and documentation integrity
  • Meet with PMHNPs to discuss complex cases, diagnostic questions, and treatment planning
  • Provide real-time and asynchronous consultation on challenging or escalating patient presentations

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Active, unrestricted MD or DO license in Massachusetts
  • Board certification in Psychiatry (ABPN or equivalent)
  • Working knowledge of collaborative practice requirements for PMHNPs
  • Experience treating diverse psychiatric conditions across the lifespan
  • Comfort with telehealth models, EHR-based chart review, and remote communication tools
  • Experience supervising or collaborating with PMHNPs
  • Strong clinical judgment across a range of psychiatric presentations and populations
  • A genuine commitment to expanding access to high-quality psychiatric care for Medicaid members
  • A collaborative mindset and appreciation for working within a mission-driven care team
  • The ability to thoughtfully balance regulatory supervision requirements with meaningful clinical partnership
