About the role
- Serve as the primary point of contact between TAG and your clients, building strong, trusted relationships.
- Partner closely with internal teams and client stakeholders to ensure smooth collaboration and communication.
- Manage Shopify ecommerce focused projects, including builds, enhancements, and ongoing support, typically up to $200k.
- Develop and maintain project documentation such as timelines, project plans, meeting notes, and budget trackers.
- Support project scoping by gathering requirements and translating them into clear, actionable tasks.
- Oversee project execution from kickoff through launch, ensuring work is delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with TAG quality standards.
- Forecast and manage project resources in alignment with budgets, schedules, and team capacity.
- Monitor project health and proactively identify and escalate risks related to scope, timeline, budget, or resourcing.
- Collaborate closely with strategy, design, development, and QA teams to maintain alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
- Participate in QA reviews to help validate requirements and ensure quality prior to release.
- Lead recurring project meetings, including internal check-ins, client status meetings, sprint planning, and milestone reviews.
- Provide clear, consistent updates to clients and internal leadership on progress, risks, and next steps.
- Contribute to continuous improvement by sharing feedback, lessons learned, and ideas to strengthen Shopify delivery and PM practices.
Requirements
- You have worked at a digital agency before.
- You have 1–3 years of experience managing web development projects, ideally with Shopify or ecommerce platforms (experience with Contentful, Drupal, or WordPress is also a plus).
- You are intellectually curious and demonstrate a strong commitment to clients and teammates.
- You are a clear, confident communicator and write and speak effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- You can manage multiple projects at once, meet deadlines, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- You build trust with clients through professionalism, follow-through, and transparency.
- You are comfortable asking questions and seeking clarity when requirements or priorities are unclear.
- You are highly detail oriented and organized.
- You work effectively with remote and distributed teams.
- You are comfortable partnering with developers and working within technical systems and workflows.
- You are eager to learn, open to mentorship, and interested in growing your ecommerce and Shopify expertise.
