About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Oversee and streamline IBM partner programs, approximately 75% Partner Programs and 25% Go-To-Market
- Identify, track, report, and strategically manage proficiencies and certifications
- Coordinate IBM demand generation campaigns and events with AHEAD stakeholders
- Coordinate IBM enablement activities with engineers and sales teams
- Build practices around key IBM solution areas with the AHEAD services team
- Develop sales strategies to grow existing business, maximize margins, and structure creative deals
- Identify and pursue opportunities in new product categories, customer segments, and lines of business
- Maintain expert knowledge of quoting tools, pricing structures, SKU management, product configurations, and quoting processes
- Track and report rebates, investments, programs, incentives, and related metrics
- Create and communicate internal content through newsletters and team meetings
- Track pipeline and registrations, support forecasting, and ensure compliance with terms and conditions
- Investigate misaligned deals and optimize margins, incentives, and profitability
- Provide responsive deal support, account mapping, and introductions for sales teams
- Monitor strategic partnership KPIs, milestones, and commitments
- Identify customer growth opportunities through expanded product and solution adoption
- Serve as subject matter expert on customer and manufacturer compliance requirements and audits
- Assess risks, recommend solutions, and drive appropriate next steps
- Assist partner managers with strategic partner go-to-market projects
- Manage and oversee IBM’s Partner Advantage program
Requirements
What you’ll need- Proven experience in program management, partner management, or a related field
- Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in metrics tracking and reporting
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to engage effectively with various stakeholders
- Experience in sales support or business development preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field preferred
- Occasional travel to support partnerships, as appropriate
