About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide **day-to-day support, administration, and monitoring** of clients’ AWS cloud infrastructure.
  • Participate in **weekly status calls** with clients to review open issues, planned changes, and improvement recommendations.
  • Assist in designing and developing **automation solutions** for monitoring, scaling, and managing cloud workloads.
  • Configure and tune AWS-native and third-party tools focused on **cost optimization, security, and compliance**.
  • Prepare and present **monthly operational and performance reports** for client environments.
  • Troubleshoot issues related to compute, storage, networking, IAM, and deployments in AWS.
  • Support incident, problem, and change management processes using internal service management tools.
  • Ensure cloud infrastructures follow **best practices** for reliability, scalability, and efficiency.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
  • **3–5 years** of hands-on experience in AWS cloud operations or cloud engineering.
  • Strong understanding of AWS services such as:
  • EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, Lambda, CloudTrail, CloudFormation, ECS/EKS.
  • Experience designing or maintaining **IaC templates** using Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
  • Experience with **Linux/Unix and Windows** system administration.
  • Proficiency in at least one scripting language: **Python, Bash, or PowerShell**.
  • Familiarity with monitoring, cost management, and security tools (e.g., AWS Cost Explorer, Trusted Advisor, Cloud Health, Prisma, Dome9).
  • Experience with ticketing tools and **Incident/Change Management** processes.
