💰 $130,000 - $150,000 per year
About the role
- Configure infrastructure in the client environment to be added into monitoring including Network, Server, Storage, Backup, Data Protection, Hyperconverged, ESXi, and other infrastructure
- Create client technical documentation
- Communicate the status of the onboarding project tasks
- Ensure that clients’ infrastructure is healthy, stable, documented, and configured with accepted technical best practices
- Serve as a technical subject matter expert and as an escalation point on complex monitoring issues for the Managed Services team
Requirements
- Minimum of 5+ years of related experience in supporting Windows / Linux in an enterprise environment
- Experience with Windows, Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, and certificates
- Linux OS configuration and troubleshooting preferred
- A college degree or equivalent in Information Systems or related field (education may be substituted by unique experience, skills, or certification)
- Managed Services or Consulting experience is a plus
- Excellent written and verbal interpersonal skills
- Skilled in achieving results in a customer centric environment
- Self-motivated with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with performance monitoring tools – Elastic, LogicMonitor, SolarWinds, etc.
- Ability to effectively interact with all levels of business via phone, written communication, and in person
- Team collaboration, responsiveness, ability to multi-task
- Strong sense of urgency, ability to set priorities and perform the job with little guidance
