About the role
- Lead the architectural design and implementation of Salesforce solutions that scale to meet business needs
- Act as a trusted advisor to business and technology leadership, influencing Salesforce strategy and roadmap decisions
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable, efficient Salesforce configurations
- Guide development teams, Salesforce admins, and business analysts in implementing enhancements, ensuring alignment with architectural best practices
- Ensure seamless integration of Salesforce with other enterprise applications using modern integration patterns
- Provide technical leadership and best practices in Salesforce platform architecture, customization, and development
- Perform system assessments and optimizations to enhance performance, security, and usability
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, solution designs, and architectural artifacts
- Conduct training and knowledge-sharing sessions to empower internal teams on Salesforce best practices
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- 7+ years of hands-on Salesforce experience, including at least 3 years in an architecture or lead role
- Strong expertise in Salesforce platform features, including Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and APIs
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce CPQ, Salesforce Billing, and Sales Cloud
- Proven experience with integration patterns and middleware solutions (e.g., MuleSoft, Boomi, Informatica) to connect Salesforce with enterprise systems
- Deep understanding of Salesforce data models, security, and automation
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to design scalable and performant solutions
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Salesforce certifications such as Application Architect, System Architect, or Technical Architect strongly preferred
- Preferred: Experience in Agile and SCRUM methodologies
- Preferred: Experience supporting quote-to-cash, billing, or financial process automation
