About the role

  • Manage receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations
  • Implement operational policies and procedures as they relate to the warehouse and assigned employees
  • Manage the accurate pulling of orders and execution of inventory control
  • Design and implement efficient flow for stocking bins and/or shelves with parts from receiving carts, receiving area, and return to stock material
  • Package and perform Quality Control of systems and parts shipping out
  • Prepare skids for freight shipment, including wrapping and strapping
  • Execute accurate semi-annual inventories and weekly cycle counts
  • Maintain required documentation and accurate records of warehouse activities
  • Perform other assigned duties as required and assigned by manager

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED)
  • 5+ years of warehouse management experience
  • Strong attention to detail and willingness and ability to follow step-by-step instructions
  • Willingness and ability to adjust and follow instruction in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness and ability to operate a Stand-Up Reach Truck and/or any of the 5 class forklifts following OSHA requirement
  • Proficient knowledge and understanding of warehouse management procedures
  • Proficient knowledge and understanding of inventory and inventory controls
  • Proficient communications skills, both written and verbal, and at all levels within AHEAD and with external stakeholders
  • Proficient leadership, organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Microsoft Office
  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards
  • Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance
  • Ability to occasionally stand up to 2.5 hours a day
  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 50lbs
  • First shift availability: 7:30am - 4:00pm Monday through Friday
