About the role
- Architect and operationalize Think of Us’s end-to-end people function.
- Set direction while designing and implementing people strategies and infrastructure.
- Lead across all facets of People & Culture.
- Collaborate closely with the executive team to ensure future-ready people practices.
- Explore and implement innovative practices to increase capacity and improve systems.
- Align people strategies with business priorities and mission outcomes.
- Oversee HR contracts to meet People & Culture goals.
- Manage core HR functions including employee performance management, compliance, and talent development.
- Design and implement integrated talent development frameworks.
- Lead end-to-end talent acquisition function and ensure best-in-class recruitment strategies.
- Foster a culture of feedback, learning, and growth, balancing performance expectations with human-centered leadership.
Requirements
- 10+ years of progressive HR/people leadership experience
- At least 3+ years in a senior or head-of-function role
- Proven track record of designing and scaling inclusive, compliant people systems in growing or entrepreneurial environments.
- Personal or professional experience with the child welfare system or other social impact work
- Strategic HR leader aligning people systems with long-term organizational goals
- Builder’s mentality in early-stage and scaling environments
- Hands-on leader comfortable executing key initiatives
- Influential leader connecting people strategies to mission outcomes and business performance
- Inclusive culture steward embedding equity, belonging, and inclusion principles
