About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide in-class and after-class assistance to AMC10 students
  • Keep classes orderly, answer student questions, communicate absences to parents, and maintain a study-conducive environment
  • Remind students to submit homework, grade homework, guide students to office hours, and answer student or parent questions
  • Provide timely, constructive feedback on assignments and performances
  • Maintain the WeCom parent group throughout the semester
  • Record video explanations for homework problems
  • Edit textbooks and other learning materials

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field
  • Fluency in both English and Chinese
  • Advanced degrees such as Master's or experience in AMC10 competition highly preferred
  • Passion for education and willingness to help students achieve their potential
  • Responsibility and responsiveness to facilitate remote work
  • Weekend availability required
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • CPT/OPT accepted

  • Non-Teaching Fee: $16-20/hour; Includes class preparation and after-class services such as grading homework, replying to parent messages, periodically giving feedback, etc.
  • Commission: 15% Target Performance Bonus
