About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide in-class and after-class assistance to AMC10 students
Keep classes orderly, answer student questions, communicate absences to parents, and maintain a study-conducive environment
Remind students to submit homework, grade homework, guide students to office hours, and answer student or parent questions
Provide timely, constructive feedback on assignments and performances
Maintain the WeCom parent group throughout the semester
Record video explanations for homework problems
Edit textbooks and other learning materials

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field
Fluency in both English and Chinese
Advanced degrees such as Master's or experience in AMC10 competition highly preferred
Passion for education and willingness to help students achieve their potential
Responsibility and responsiveness to facilitate remote work
Weekend availability required
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
CPT/OPT accepted

Teaching Fee: $30/hour
Non-Teaching Fee: $16-20/hour; Includes class preparation and after-class services such as grading homework, replying to parent messages, periodically giving feedback, etc.
Commission: 15% Target Performance Bonus
