About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage client relationships and on-time delivery of program objectives
- Oversee program and project coordination, timelines, budgets, and alignment with program goals
- Act as primary liaison between clients, Business Development, project teams, and Laboratory Operations
- Facilitate routine client-facing and internal meetings
- Coordinate client visits with Business Development and Lab Operations management
- Support and lead the program governance model
- Oversee complex stability launch coordination
- Manage FTE project setup, monitoring, and completion
- Prioritize client projects
- Establish project status trackers, distribute them to project teams, and review outputs
- Evaluate and escalate risks across projects and solicit feedback
- Prepare projections and forecasts for large FTE programs, monitor budgets and utilization targets, and communicate FTE utilization and spend
- Manage contract processes and client project contract renewals
- Drive new opportunities from existing clients
- Train and support Program Manager I and Program Manager II
- Respond to client inquiries and lead client communications
- Manage client expectations and program deliverables with Laboratory Operations management
- Provide internal consulting on project management issues and identify process and efficiency improvements
- Act as chief liaison to operational personnel of major clients and manage large study programs
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree or equivalent and relevant formal academic / vocational qualification
- 7+ years of comparable experience, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
- Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check, including a drug screening
- Strong science and/or business acumen
- Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills
- Superior time management, planning, and organizational skills
- Proven analytical skills
- Demonstrated compliance with procedures and policies
- Ability to perform multiple tasks effectively in a stressful environment
- Extensive knowledge and experience in Project Management
- Strong client relationship management skills
- Ability to work effectively with multi-level teams
- Ability to work in a fast-paced undefined environment
- Strong negotiation skills
- Demonstrated experience in FTE project management, including financial responsibilities such as forecasting FTE strongly preferred
- Ability to communicate, receive, and understand information and ideas with diverse groups of people
- Ability to work upright and stationary for typical working hours
- Ability to use and learn standard office equipment and technology with proficiency
- Ability to perform successfully under pressure while prioritizing and handling multiple projects or activities
- May require travel
