About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead and develop the EMEA OEM Filtration sales organization
  • Drive revenue growth and profitability objectives
  • Strengthen strategic OEM customer relationships
  • Coach an international team of eight sales professionals across Germany, France and Italy
  • Establish clear performance expectations and create a proactive, customer-focused sales culture
  • Develop and execute the EMEA OEM Filtration sales strategy
  • Drive proactive selling, opportunity development and customer engagement
  • Manage complex OEM sales cycles, negotiations and commercial relationships
  • Strengthen the team's integration and visibility across the wider EMEA organization
  • Lead the team through organizational and commercial change
  • Partner with supply, operations, US export teams and other internal stakeholders
  • Ensure effective customer delivery and resolve commercial challenges
  • Use Salesforce, market intelligence and commercial data to manage the sales pipeline, identify opportunities and improve forecasting and sales execution
  • Monitor customer, market and competitive developments and translate insights into actionable commercial plans
  • Support team members through regular coaching, feedback and development
  • Represent the business with key customers and internal stakeholders across EMEA
  • Travel up to 50% across the assigned region

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Master's degree or equivalent experience, ideally in Life Sciences, Business or a related field
  • Significant B2B sales experience within life sciences, filtration, laboratory products or a related technical/scientific industry
  • Proven experience managing and developing OEM customer relationships
  • Understanding of OEM sales dynamics
  • Previous sales leadership experience
  • Demonstrated ability to coach, motivate and develop commercial teams
  • Strong track record of delivering revenue growth and achieving challenging commercial targets
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams through change and develop a proactive, performance-oriented sales culture
  • Experience using CRM systems, preferably Salesforce
  • Experience using commercial data to support decision-making
  • Strong commercial acumen
  • Ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans
  • Ability to operate successfully in a complex, international matrix organization
  • Ability to build effective cross-functional relationships
  • Strong negotiation, communication and presentation skills
  • Strong organizational and project management capabilities
  • Fluent English is required
  • German language skills are an advantage but not essential
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% across EMEA and regularly to Wuppertal, Germany
