About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Drive company pipeline by collaborating with field representatives, internal leadership teams, and prospective clients
- Generate new meetings and opportunities for the assigned territory
- Support the Medical Communications team
- Engage new clients or contacts and secure client meetings and RFP opportunities
- Drive RFP pipeline and hit rates through lead generation, pipeline development, and territory management
- Track and maintain all activity in the CRM database
- Support marketing initiatives, including conferences
- Schedule meetings and manage follow-up items
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree or equivalent and relevant formal academic / vocational qualification
- 2–4 years of comparable previous experience
- Current or previous sales experience in a CRO
- Experience with Salesforce preferred
- Ability to develop territory management strategies and sales leads
- Ability to professionally present capabilities and collaborate on relationship hand-offs
- Ability to coordinate information and follow up with diverse sources
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to collaborate with various internal departments
- Thorough knowledge of the industry, company, and functional areas
- Proficiency with sales automation systems and Microsoft Office
- Excellent organization and time management skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a matrixed team environment
