About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and action Account Growth Plans for assigned PSG accounts
- Lead successful Account Management Teams for PSG and support corporate-level teams to generate and progress opportunities to closure
- Identify and progress proactive, above-funnel, strategic offerings based on client needs, capabilities, and financial considerations
- Lead governance programs for client portfolios across multiple service lines and global sites
- Report and facilitate actions based on KPIs measuring relationship health and operational performance
- Prevent and handle above-site issues through communications and engagement with internal and client executives
- Drive improvement initiatives, ensure contract compliance, and deliver maximum value
- Facilitate harmonization across sites and continuous improvement using a PPI approach
- Implement network-level sales and operations planning processes where valuable
- Forecast, communicate, and report sales objectives in CRM systems and reporting tools
- Build influential relationships with internal and external partners and lead through influence
- Drive action with positivity and resiliency in changing business environments
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in a scientific field, pharmacy, or business-related field
- MBA highly preferred
- Sales and account management experience in the pharmaceutical or comparable industry required
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical product development, cGMP requirements, and CDMO/CRO services highly preferred
- Strong analytical skills and understanding of financial models, including cash flow, revenue recognition, return on investment, and risk allocation
- Experience engaging with executives, including C-suite
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in commercial, program management, or relationship management roles
- Demonstrated experience with complex initiatives in a matrix environment with broad, high-value impact
- Strong record of coordinating activities across all organizational levels
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Self-motivated, action-oriented, and customer-advocacy mindset
