About the role

  • Operate, clean, and maintain laboratory equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
  • Perform routine inspections, calibrations, and functional tests on instruments to ensure outstanding accuracy.
  • Prepare buffers, GMP/GSP solutions, reagents, wash buffers, quench solutions, and other laboratory solutions according to strict protocols.
  • Manage consumables through ordering, Kanban tracking, restocking, and inventory control to ensure seamless operations.
  • Safely collect, segregate, and dispose of chemical, solvent-containing, and pharmaceutical waste; maintain hazard registers and safety documentation.
  • Support internal logistics including shipment of materials, mail distribution, and archiving of laboratory records.
  • Carry out non-GMP laboratory activities such as LCMS vial cleaning, chromatography solvent preparation, and general lab housekeeping.

Requirements

  • Technical training in chemistry, biology, or a related field, or equivalent laboratory experience.
  • Good knowledge of laboratory safety, GMP/GSP requirements, and technical documentation.
  • Ability to operate laboratory equipment and prepare solutions.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Problem-solving mindset and willingness to learn.
  • Laboratory-based role with routine handling of chemicals and reagents.
  • Requires the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Some physical activity (lifting, transporting laboratory consumables).
  • Fluent German language skills, both written and spoken.
