About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Train on routine operation, maintenance, and theory of analytical instrumentation, SOPs, and regulatory guidelines
- Perform routine sample preparation and analysis procedures to quantitatively measure pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical compounds
- Progress to more complex techniques and analyze varied formulations and biological matrices
- Complete laboratory documentation accurately according to SOPs and GLPs
- Review and compile results and make initial acceptability determinations against SOP criteria
- Troubleshoot extraction and instrumentation problems with assistance
- Perform assignments accurately, timely, and safely
- Manage QC responsibilities with minimal or no supervisor input
- Communicate project status to the project leader
- Build understanding of QA processes and manage responsibilities with decreasing supervisor or QA input
- Remotely conduct quality control data review on data generated by the bioanalytical laboratory
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree or equivalent and relevant formal academic / vocational qualification
- 0–1 year of comparable experience, or equivalent combination of education, training, and directly related experience
- Knowledge of routine operation, maintenance, and theory of analytical instrumentation
- Knowledge of SOPs and regulatory guidelines
- Knowledge of applicable regulatory authority, compendia, and ICH guidelines
- Excellent manual dexterity for precise and accurate work
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Time management and project management skills
- Problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
- Ability to cross-train on sample preparation techniques
- Ability to work collaboratively
- Ability to communicate, receive, and understand information and ideas with diverse groups of people
- Ability to work upright and stationary for typical working hours
- Ability to use and learn standard office equipment and technology proficiently
- Ability to perform under pressure while prioritizing and handling multiple projects or activities
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
- Must pass a comprehensive background check, including drug screening
- Availability for Monday–Friday second shift, 2:00 p.m.–10:30 p.m. EST
