About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Collaborate with market development, product management, and commercial colleagues to deliver marketing programs and tactics
- Lead end-to-end planning and execution of internal commercial meetings and external tradeshows
- Manage event contract negotiations, logistics, event technology, communications, vendors, budgets, and cross-functional coordination
- Conduct post-event analysis to measure success, identify improvement opportunities, and enhance future events
- Drive production of marketing campaigns and tactics with internal and external partners
- Work with Brand and Legal teams to ensure marketing materials meet requirements and guidelines
- Identify optimization opportunities and develop SOPs or process documents to improve marketing organization efficiency
- Keep projects organized, meet deadlines, and achieve performance targets
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's Degree plus 5+ years of experience in Market Development, Marketing Communications or Marketing Operations
- Preferably experience in life science/biopharma or B2B industries
- Strong project management, attention to detail, prioritization, critical thinking, creative, and decision-making skills
- Expertise with Microsoft Office tools, particularly PowerPoint and Excel
- Experience with Power BI, Seismic, and Asana preferred
- Comfortable learning new software tools and systems
- Events planning/execution preferred
- Strong analytical skills with experience in post-event analysis, reporting, and implementing improvements a plus
- Outstanding verbal/written communication skills
- Ability to assist with marketing campaigns and tactics across email, social, sales enablement, events, and other channels
- Good judgment, flexibility, and ability to respond positively to rapidly changing priorities
- Self-motivated and able to drive objectives
- Collaborative approach and willingness to go the extra mile to accomplish critical objectives
- Exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
