About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own the distribution requirements planning process for assigned product lines
  • Translate approved demand plans into replenishment and distribution requirements
  • Monitor finished goods inventory against forecasts, sales, demand, and replenishment plans
  • Adjust replenishment and distribution plans to reduce stock-out, excess, obsolete inventory, and working capital risks
  • Identify supply, replenishment, and distribution gaps; escalate risks and recommend alternatives
  • Partner with Manufacturing, Supply Planning, Logistics, Customer Service, and regional teams to support timely deliveries and reduce backorders
  • Maintain and review planning parameters including lead times, safety stock, min/max levels, lot sizes, and inventory targets
  • Lead resolution of availability, replenishment, distribution, and customer delivery issues
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory, quality, health and safety, and internal process requirements
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives for planning processes and operational performance
  • Maintain data accuracy within ERP systems
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to summarize planning issues, recommend actions, influence stakeholders, and drive SIOP alignment

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor degree and 2 years of experience in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, or Engineering
  • Experience in demand planning, DRP, supply planning, inventory management, materials planning, or supply chain operations
  • Experience with ERP, MRP, DRP, or advanced planning systems
  • Strong knowledge of inventory optimization, safety stock strategy, and replenishment planning
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret demand trends, inventory data, and supply chain risks
  • Ability to manage large data sets, identify root causes, and translate insights into practical planning actions
  • Strong Excel skills to analyze, summarize, and present planning data
  • Ability to manage competing priorities, execute with urgency, and resolve availability, replenishment, and customer delivery risks
  • Ability to improve planning processes, data accuracy, and operating discipline
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Manufacturing, Supply Planning, Logistics, and Customer Service teams
  • Strong communication skills to summarize complex planning issues and recommend practical actions
  • Ability to influence stakeholders and drive alignment through the SIOP process
  • Understanding of how demand planning and DRP decisions affect customer service, inventory, working capital, and operating performance
  • Ability to escalate risks, communicate trade-offs, and support decision-making
  • Experience in a manufacturing, life sciences, industrial, medical device, or regulated environment preferred
  • SAP, Oracle, JDE, or similar planning tools preferred
  • APICS / ASCM certification such as CPIM or CSCP preferred
