About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Increase revenue and build lasting relationships with customers while representing our comprehensive portfolio of scientific products and services.
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans, manage key account relationships, and ensure customer satisfaction through consultative selling.
- Work with cross-functional teams to provide tailored solutions that meet customer needs while achieving sales targets.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to help customers advance their scientific goals through a combination of customer visits and virtual engagement.
Requirements
What you’ll need- BS degree required. Preferred Fields of Study: Life Sciences, Chemistry, Biology or related scientific field.
- 5 plus years of work related experience, preferably a mix of lab sales and bench experience.
- Laboratory, scientific, or healthcare industries and preferred with large equipment sales experience
- Must live in the greater Denver area
- Technical knowledge and ability to understand customer applications and workflows
- Must have a good understanding of Next Gen Sequencing and qPCR applications
- Prefer someone with a good understanding of Proteomics and Multiomics integration
- Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain customer relationships at all levels
- A relevant network of contacts within the San Diego territory as defined
- Technical experience with proteomics or discovery biomarkers is a plus
- Proficiency with CRM systems (preferably Salesforce) and MS Office suite
- Analytical and strategic planning capabilities
- Results-oriented with demonstrated success in achieving sales targets
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a matrix environment
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel up to 50% within assigned territory
- Fluency in English required; additional languages beneficial
