About the role
- Administer and secure remote access tools, including TeamViewer, RDP, and other remote access technologies
- Develop, implement, and enforce security policies and procedures for remote access systems
- Monitor remote access systems to detect and respond to security incidents and vulnerabilities
- Conduct regular security assessments and audits of remote access tools to identify and mitigate risks
- Collaborate with IT and security teams to ensure seamless integration of remote access security measures
- Provide technical support and guidance to users of remote access tools
- Stay ahead of emerging security threats and technologies in remote access
- Develop and deliver security awareness training programs for employees
- Prepare and present regular reports on the status of remote access security to senior management
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or equivalent work experience
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity or IT, with experience administering remote access tools
- Strong knowledge of remote access tools such as TeamViewer, VPNs, and other remote access technologies
- Experience with security frameworks and standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, CIS)
- Proficiency in using security tools and technologies (e.g., firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM)
