About the role
- Own end to end success of the project/program, ensuring accountability, execution of timelines, and continuous change management to deliver on-time, quantitative and qualitative results
- Ensure that all project/programs are delivered within scope and budget
- Develop project/program scopes and objectives, involving all relevant cross-functional leadership and ensure resource availability and allocation
- Establish relationships within the company to successfully complete projects through effective communication with collaborators
- Identify and handle interdependencies, risks, issues, and actions, facilitating decision-making related to complexities through effective risk management strategies
- Develop detailed project/program plans to track progress and action logs
- Create and maintain comprehensive project/program documentation and prepare reports for leadership
Requirements
- 8+ years of project/program management and team leadership experience with proven track record in successfully leading project/programs from start to finish required
- Minimum Education Required: Bachelor’s degree required (preferably in a life science or business-related field) PhD & MBA preferred
- Project Management certification highly desirable (PMP, Agile, etc.)
- PPI/Lean/Six Sigma Certification a major plus
- Showed strength in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint & Word
- Strong understanding of formal project management methodologies
- Experience managing project/program budgets (CAPEX & OPEX) over $500k
