About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Install, maintain, calibrate, troubleshoot, and repair laboratory equipment, including incubators, centrifuges, refrigerators, freezers, and related instrumentation
Diagnose electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration issues using schematics, service documentation, diagnostic software, and test equipment
Deliver an exceptional customer experience through responsive communication, technical expertise, and dependable service
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve customer issues and identify opportunities for additional products and services
Continuously develop technical knowledge through product training, safety programs, and industry updates
Manage daily service operations by scheduling customer visits, responding to customer communications, completing field service reports, ordering parts, and maintaining accurate service documentation

Requirements

What you’ll need

High school diploma or equivalent required
Technical certificate, Associate's degree, Bachelor's degree in HVAC, Engineering, Electronics, or a related field preferred
Experience troubleshooting, repairing, or maintaining electrical, mechanical, or electromechanical equipment preferred
Ability to troubleshoot electromechanical equipment using electrical schematics, technical documentation, and diagnostic tools such as digital multimeters, temperature measurement devices, and pressure gauges
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently
Ability to communicate technical information clearly to customers and colleagues
Excellent customer service, communication, and relationship-building skills
Proficiency with Windows, Microsoft Office, and service management software
Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous learning
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future
Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen
Maintain a valid driver's license and safe driving record
